Abstract: 

Application of environmental management system (EMS) in urban environment provides a city with orderliness, regularity, quietness and freshness environment. Besides, it contributes sustainable development and optimization in life level index of the city. If the whole urban districts design and establish an environmental management system ISO 14001, the development will be faster and more sustainable. Municipality of Tehran, District-22 has been found and started an activity under the command of Sterling Council of Iran Urbanization and Architecture in order to regenerate the urbanization concealed concepts and also to control and organize the excessive constructions in west and northwest of Tehran since 2000. As a result of human undergoing development activities, the process of urbanization during many years has caused various environmental impacts. Thus, decision makers and managers considered urban sustainable development as a main strategy. District-22, has taken the required steps in providing sustainable development, safety and health of the organization and citizens in the related district. Environmental policy and commitment of top management (Mayor of the District-22) are to keep environmental conservation, in a well organized manner. In this study, dominant environmental aspects, impacts and legal requirements of the related activities and services are identified. Subsequently, environmental objectives and targets and also environmental management programs have been determined. Besides, training, internal and external communication, operational control, emergency preparedness and responsibility, obligations to follow environmental rules and achieving certification of ISO 14001; 1996 standard are the most important highlights at this study. The planning process, establishing and the method of operation has also been studied.

Abstract: 

استاندارد ISO 14001 به عنوان عنصری موثر و فعال در سیستم مدیریت شهری، عملکرد محیط زیستی سازمان ها را بهبود بخشیده، نظام مدیریت محیط زیستی را منسجم و استاندارد می سازد. با وجود فواید بسیاری که استقرار این نظام در سازمان ها دارد نگهداری آن نیز از ارکان اساسی است که عملکرد محیط زیستی سازمان به آن وابسته است. در این مطالعه از ارزیابی چند معیاره به منظور طراحی مدل ارزیابی عملکرد محیط زیستی سازمان ها برای نگهداری این استاندارد استفاده شد. در گام نخست با استفاده از مطالعه مقالات و پژوهش های انجام شده در این زمینه و نیز مصاحبه با مشاوران و ممیزان استاندارد ISO 14001 در شرکت های گواهی دهنده موانع و مشکلات مربوط به نگهداری این استاندارد شناسایی و بر اساس تجزیه و تحلیل این داده ها در نرم افزار Nvivo8بر پایه مراحل چرخه دمینگ از بین این موانع، 13معیار ارزیابی استخراج شد سپس با روش تجزیه و تحلیل سلسله مراتبی معیارهای حاصل وزن دهی شدند و در گام بعدی برای ساخت مدل از روش ترکیب خطی وزنی (WLC) استفاده شد. مدل حاصل شده در شهرداری منطقه 7 تهران که بهمن 1387 موفق به اخذ گواهینامه استاندارد ISO 14001 شده بود اجرا شد و نتایج نشان داد که عملکرد این سازمان در نگهداری این نظام مدیریتی ضعیف بوده است. در این مطالعه پیشنهاد شد که به منظور بهبود عملکرد محیط زیستی سازمان ها، نگهداری این استاندارد در سازمان ها مورد تجدید نظر قرار گیرد.

Abstract: 

Nowadays, the environment occupies more and more a priority thought for the public opinion as well as for the local authorities, the administrations and the companies. Environmental management improves the performance of any organization towards the environment. In this perspective, our work consists in developing a dashboard grouping all the environmental indicators and which can have a direct or indirect impact on the economic performance of the company starting from the implementation of an environmental management system based on the ISO 14001 standard. This table can serve as an environmental decision support tool while also analyzing the results of monitoring. This approach, key for sustainable development, is encouraged by public authorities and Moroccan economic actors.

Abstract: 

Background and Objective: Considering the increasing development of gas and oil industries in Pars Gas Complex and consequently the increasing environmental problems, especially impacts on air quality, conducting knowledge-base and efficient studies for assessment and management of environmental issues in such region are of high importantance. Method: In this study, environmental air quality at the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone was evaluated using fuzzy logic in 2013 and 2014. In contrary to classical crisp logic, fuzzy logic is a highly vaulted logic in which variable vary between 0 and 1. In fuzzy logic, it is possible to assess the quality and environmental risk using qualitative (linguistic) and quantitative variables. Two fuzzy inference systems were constructed respectively based on air quality index (AQI) and Benzene, Toluene, Ethyl Benzene, Xylene and H2S Quality index (BTEXHQI) to obtained the fuzzy air quality index (FAQI) in this study. Weighted rules in fuzzy inference system were calculated based on previous studies, sensitively analysis and environmental expert opinions. Findings: Results show that SO2 and Toluene are the agent pollutant in fuzzy inference systems based on AQI and BTEXHQI, respectively. For instance, fuzzy index of environmental air quality of Assaluyeh was calculated as 201 (very unhealthy) and 173 (unhealthy) in 2013 and 2014. Discussion and Conclusion: The obtained results indicate that quality indexes and environmental risks are being improved as one of the most important achievements of ISO 14001 and HSE management systems.

Abstract: 

The aim of this paper is to assess the adequacy and desirability of applying environmental management accounting techniques and to prioritize them using the AHP method in companies with ISO 14001 certificate in Iran. As Islamic companies they adhere to Islamic principles and standards and protect the environment according to Sharia law in Islam. First, through questionnaires, we examined the desirability of applying environmental management accounting techniques in companies with ISO 14001 and then by analytic hierarchy process (AHP), they were ranked according to their importance. The statistical population of the research is the companies with ISO 14001 in Iran. Statistical tests were used to assess the mean confidence interval of the population and SPSS and EViews software were used to analyze these companies. The findings showed that the surveyed population had only a strong understanding of the importance of environmental activities, and the environmental management accounting techniques used in these companies were not adequate and desirable. The high precision power indicates that companies tend to use environmental management accounting techniques, but due to lack of appropriate guidance and relevant standards in this area, companies have difficulty implementing environmental protection accounting.

Abstract: 

Standardized indicators for evaluating cloud computing services are essential to support informed customer decision-making, enhance transparency, promote fair competition among providers, and establish a reliable basis for Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and internal monitoring. As shown in the comparative analysis of existing models, many current approaches lack systematic alignment with architectural standards, comprehensive coverage of cross-cutting characteristics, or an integrated maturity and ranking structure. To address these gaps, this study adopts the cross-cutting characteristics defined in ISO/IEC 22123-2 as the conceptual and standards-based foundation of the evaluation framework. Based on the non-functional attributes specified in the standard, evaluation requirements were systematically derived and translated into measurable indicators, ensuring full traceability to their source. These indicators were structured across the three cloud service layers (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) while maintaining consistent coverage of cross-layer and cross-cutting characteristics. Unlike prior maturity-only or scoring-only approaches, the proposed framework integrates a maturity-based structure with quantifiable indicators and a weighting mechanism to enable comparative evaluation and service ranking. A structured mapping was established between the standard’s cross-cutting characteristics, the derived requirements, and the measurable indicators. The results demonstrate that the proposed framework is not an isolated model, but an operational extension of ISO/IEC 22123-2 that transforms its non-functional characteristics into a comprehensive, measurable, and rankable evaluation system suitable for national and international implementation.
